from 1987 till today - a family business on the global market!
SMT Maschinen- und Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG is one of the market leaders in production technology for electronic assemblies. At our headquarters in Wertheim, we have been developing and producing soldering systems and heat transfer machines which are used worldwide in the electronics industry for over 35 years.
With branches in China and Mexico, SMT Wertheim has become global. The company holds several patents and has developed numerous innovative processes that are now part of the technological standard.
On February 13th, 1987, company founder Hans-Günter Ulzhöfer registered SMT Maschinen- und Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG in the commercial register. More than 35 years later, SMT Wertheim is not only a solid medium-sized company with over 150 employees, but also an internationally oriented world market leader in the field of plant engineering for SMT technology.
Today, Dr. Christian Ulzhöfer (CEO) and authorized representative Caroline Beck run the family business in the 2nd generation.
