The topic of “energy efficiency” already has a central role in the development of our systems in terms of production, software and processes.
SMT Thermal Discoveries has manifested this attitude in its “Code of Conduct” and in the “Corporate Social Responsibility” guidelines. In particular, we pay special attention to the topics of “carbon footprint” and “renewable energies”. SMT Thermal Discoveries is ISO 14001:2015 certified.
Due to the size of the company, the legislature currently does not provide mandatory application of the so-called Supply Chain Act. Nevertheless, we proactively and diligently strive to ensure and improve transparency in the traceability of the raw materials processed in the product within the supply chain.
The aim is to ensure that materials used come from responsible sources. We pay particular attention to raw materials and materials that may come from conflict regions, high-risk areas or nature reserves. The purchase of raw materials must not result in human rights violations or the financing of armed groups. To ensure this, we exercise due diligence on the origin and chain of custody of these particular raw materials and materials in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guide for Responsible Supply Chains.
ISO 9001 is the most common used standard for quality management systems and specifies the requirements for them. Meeting these requirements guarantees that SMT Thermal Discoveries has implemented appropriate processes to provide high quality products and services.
The required quality of the products and services is based on customer expectations as well as the relevant legal and official requirements. At the same time, the management system promotes a constant improvement process.
